Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Luemonora LLC ("Tendra," "we," "us") governing your use of the Tendra mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You may not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law or have previously been banned.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in method secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You may sign in using email magic links or third-party providers (Apple, Google).
3. License to use the Service
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended, non-commercial purpose, subject to these Terms.
4. User content and license to us
You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, text, messages, posts). By submitting content, you grant Tendra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service (for example, showing your profile to other users). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have copied or shared, and for backups/records we must keep by law.
You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or harm others.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or that depicts minors.
- Impersonate anyone, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or create fake profiles.
- Solicit money, run scams, spam, or advertise.
- Share others' private information or content without consent (including screenshots of private photos or messages).
- Use the Service for commercial purposes, solicitation, or prostitution.
- Attempt to bypass bans, security, moderation, or rate limits, or scrape/automate the Service.
Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent ban.
6. Content moderation
We use automated tools and human review to moderate content. As described in our Privacy Policy, authorized staff may review submitted content — including private photos and private/chatroom messages — for safety, moderation, support, and legal compliance. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion. You can report and block other users in the app.
7. Safety; no background checks; health disclaimer
- We do not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification of users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Use caution, meet in public, and follow common-sense safety practices.
- Tendra is a community for people affected by STIs. Tendra does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content in the app (including from other users) is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider. We make no representation about other users' health status, disclosures, or conduct.
8. Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Tendra offers optional premium subscriptions (e.g. monthly, 6-month, and yearly plans).
- Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Tendra directly, and are subject to those stores' terms.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple/Google according to their policies and applicable law; except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- Prices and plans may change; we will give notice as required by law and store rules.
9. Termination and bans
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. We may retain limited information after termination as described in the Privacy Policy (including to enforce bans and prevent ban evasion).
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY MATCH OR INTERACTION WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TENDRA AND LUEMONORA LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tendra and Luemonora LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
13. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Informal resolution first. Before starting an arbitration, you agree to first contact us at support@tendra.date and give us 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally.
Binding individual arbitration. Except for the exceptions below, you and Luemonora LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Judgment on the arbitrator's award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Class-action and jury-trial waiver. You and Luemonora LLC agree to bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. You and Luemonora LLC each waive any right to a jury trial.
Small-claims exception. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction, if the claim qualifies.
30-day right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@tendra.date from your account email with a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Severability. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be severed and brought in a court of competent jurisdiction; the rest of this section remains in effect.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Apple App Store additional terms
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Luemonora LLC only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content; and Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms against you.
